Monitor pattern suite
Inspect gradients, color fields, uniformity and backlight behavior in one workspace.
Diagnostic visuals retain their original colors and remain visible. Presentation filters and high contrast apply outside this workspace; device-level filters may still affect your observation.
Use normal brightness for colors; dim room lighting for black and low-gray fields.

How to run this check
Use normal brightness for colors; dim room lighting for black and low-gray fields.
Understand the result
PASS describes a received signal or your recorded observation. WARNING calls for another check. USER REVIEW REQUIRED means a measurement alone cannot decide. An unavailable API or denied permission does not establish hardware failure.
What this cannot tell you
No browser pattern measures calibrated color accuracy, panel luminance or contrast ratio.
If something seems wrong
Disable night-light filters and check the native display mode before comparing patterns.

Is anything uploaded?
Raw diagnostic input and media are processed locally. Standalone results remain in page memory. Guided checks offer optional coarse session recovery for 24 hours; it excludes media and detailed measurements. Hosting and Google Analytics requests still leave your browser. Analytics receives only broad test-usage categories, never these diagnostic contents. See the privacy policy.
Does a pass guarantee my hardware is healthy?
No. It records behavior observed in this browser session. Intermittent faults, internal components and operating-system restrictions need further investigation. See our methodology.
