Accelerometer test
Observe acceleration including gravity where motion events are exposed.
Diagnostic visuals retain their original colors and remain visible. Presentation filters and high contrast apply outside this workspace; device-level filters may still affect your observation.
Choose Start sensor, allow access if prompted, then gently tilt the device during the sample.

How to run this check
Choose Start sensor, allow access if prompted, then gently tilt the device during the sample.
Understand the result
PASS describes a received signal or your recorded observation. WARNING calls for another check. USER REVIEW REQUIRED means a measurement alone cannot decide. An unavailable API or denied permission does not establish hardware failure.
What this cannot tell you
This browser may not expose this sensor. Values include gravity in m/s² and are not calibrated hardware measurements.
If something seems wrong
Use a supported mobile browser over HTTPS; check motion access settings and retest.

Is anything uploaded?
Raw diagnostic input and media are processed locally. Standalone results remain in page memory. Guided checks offer optional coarse session recovery for 24 hours; it excludes media and detailed measurements. Hosting and Google Analytics requests still leave your browser. Analytics receives only broad test-usage categories, never these diagnostic contents. See the privacy policy.
Does a pass guarantee my hardware is healthy?
No. It records behavior observed in this browser session. Intermittent faults, internal components and operating-system restrictions need further investigation. See our methodology.
