WebGL capability test

Check WebGL and WebGL2 availability with a tiny render/readback validation.

Your test workspace

LOCAL PROCESSING

Run the check to render a single-color canvas and read the maximum texture size.

Enable JavaScript to run this interactive test. The guide and methodology below remain available.

How to run this check

Run the check to render a single-color canvas and read the maximum texture size.

Understand the result

PASS describes a received signal or your recorded observation. WARNING calls for another check. USER REVIEW REQUIRED means a measurement alone cannot decide. An unavailable API or denied permission does not establish hardware failure.

What this cannot tell you

This is capability validation, not a GPU benchmark. No unmasked renderer or persistent fingerprint is collected.

If something seems wrong

Check browser graphics settings and drivers if rendering is unavailable.

Good to know

Is anything uploaded?

Raw diagnostic input and media are processed locally. Results remain in this page’s memory until you download a report or leave. Hosting and Google Analytics requests still leave your browser. Analytics receives only broad test-usage categories, never these diagnostic contents. See the privacy policy.

Does a pass guarantee my hardware is healthy?

No. It records behavior observed in this browser session. Intermittent faults, internal components and operating-system restrictions need further investigation. See our methodology.
